Joel Kallman is director of software development for Oracle’s Server Technologies at Oracle America.  He is responsible for the development and product management of Oracle APEX. Joel has been at Oracle since 1996 and has been in the development of Oracle APEX since 1999.  He is a contributing author of several books on Oracle technology, including Expert One on One Oracle, Beginning Oracle Programming, and Mastering Oracle PL/SQL: Practical Solutions. Joel holds a bachelor of science degree in computer and information science from the College of Engineering, Ohio State University.

Francis Mignault has over twenety-five years of experience in IT and with Oracle databases. He started as a developer on version 5 of Oracle using forms 2.3. He then quickly specialized as a database administrator. In 2002 he co-founded Insum Solutions, where he currently holds the role of  chief technology officer. His first-rate PL/SQL and APEX expertise led to his becoming the first APEX instructor in Quebec. He has presented at several seminars and conferences in the United States and Canada including: Oracle Open World, IOUG Collaborate, ODTUG Apexposed, ODTUG Kscope, and Ora*GEC. Francis is an Oracle ACE and co-author of the Expert Oracle Application Express.

Cameron Mahbubian is a Harvard educated executive who is the current president and CEO at ClariFit. Prior to co-founding ClariFit with business partner Martin Giffy D'Souza, Cameron held various other executive and managerial roles for several award winning companies. Kris started with Oracle on 7.1.3 working for a small insurance company. He made the move to Oracle in 1998 joining Oracle Consulting and later moving to CRM development holding multiple roles from development manager to architect. Kris then moved to database development where SQL Developer was created in 2006 and now has over 2.5 million users. He is also responsible for multiple products such as Data Modeler, APEX Listener, and Oracle XE. Kris also leads the OTN Database Developer Day events which travels to multiple cities training developers and has an accompanying virtual image with all labs and software pre-installed.

John Edward Scott has been using Oracle since version 7 (around 1993), and has used pretty much every release since then. He has had the good fortune to work on a wide range of projects for a varied group of clients. He was lucky enough to start working with Oracle APEX when it was first publicly released, and has worked with it nearly every day since (and loves it). John is an Oracle ACE Director and was named Application Express Developer of the Year 2006 by Oracle Magazine. He is the author of the best-selling book, Pro Oracle Application Express.
